Vikas Bhatia is founder & CEO of JustProtect. Prior to this he was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Kalki Consulting which provides SecurITy ™ for small to medium businesses and has offices in Manhattan, NY and London, UK. The firm focuses on small- and medium-sized businesses seeking to invest in their future and enhance their potential for success. Vikas is a recognized Certified Chief Information Security Officer who has previously assisted many global clients to assess the regulatory and business operations landscape, identifying business impacting technology risks. He has over 16 years enterprise information technology experience with over15 years dedicated to information security operations, auditing, compliance and consulting engagements.
Early Career
Before launching Kalki, he held senior consulting positions at Deloitte & Touche and CapGemini. He has previously served a number of state and local government, financial services, healthcare, and retail clients.

Throughout his career, he has earned numerous professional certifications, including Security Assurance for the Federal Reserve (SAFR), HiTRUST Certified Practitioner, Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and , EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker.
Education
Vikas earned a BA in Economics from Kingston University in the UK and has been recognized as an Advanced Degree holder in Information Risk Management from Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, based on his expertise, Vikas was awarded permanent residence status in 2012 by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which deemed him a “person with exceptional ability in the national interest” in the area of Information Security.
