HONORING ALL WHO SERVED

To honor and celebrate veterans for their patriotism, passion for our country, and selflessness in serving for the common good, Veterans Day became a national holiday in 1938. Today, we thank and honor all those that have served including these distinguished veterans.

JAN SCRUGGS
As president of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund Inc., the nonprofit organization created to build and maintain the Memorial, Jan C. Scruggs headed up the effort that saw the Memorial completed in just two years.

BRENT GLEESON
After leaving SEAL Team 5, combat veteran Brent Gleeson has established himself as an entrepreneur, TV personality, writer, and acclaimed speaker on leadership, entrepreneurship and marketing.

J.R. MARTINEZ
J.R. Martinez is a heroic, U.S. Army veteran who suffered severe burns to 34% of his body and went on to become an accomplished author and actor. He has inspired millions with his motivational message and by winning Dancing with the Stars.

CAREY LOHRENZ
As the first female F-14 Tomcat pilot, Carey Lohrenz was a pioneer in military aviation. She has flown missions worldwide as a combat, mission-ready United States Navy pilot.

RORKE DENVER
Rorke T. Denver has run every phase of training for the U.S. Navy SEALs, and starred in the hit film Act of Valor and is now in the FOX Series, American Grit.

SCOTT O’GRADY
Scott O’Grady is the American fighter pilot whose ordeal after being shot down in Bosnia inspired the 2001 Movie “Behind Enemy Lines.”

DICK COUCH
Dick Couch served with the Navy Underwater Demolition and SEAL Teams in Vietnam and as a CIA case officer, and then became the NY Times bestselling author of Act of Valor and Navy SEALs: Their Untold Story.
